About

At 37, Minna Lim found herself in a challenging situation—going through a divorce with three children, limited savings, and the threat of losing her home. With a background in sales and no technical experience, she turned to mobile games for relief and soon sparked the idea of building an app herself.
Inspired by the prevalence of mobile apps for communication and gaming, Lim embarked on a journey to create something meaningful. After trying several online dating apps post-divorce, she realized these platforms often fell short after initial pairings. This led her to envision something more: an app that could manage relationships beyond dating.

In 2021, she started working on Lovpipo, an innovative app designed to go beyond simple match-ups and help singles foster meaningful relationships and connections. Lovpipo allows users not only to find love but also to build friendships and expand their social circles. The app introduces features like group meet-ups, note-taking on new connections, and even facilitates opportunities for introverts to socialize without awkward introductions.
Lim’s vision for Lovpipo came to life with investor funding in 2022. For her, the app is more than a tool; it’s the concept behind it—building and nurturing connections—that makes it truly powerful.
